When can I pick up my rental equipment?

Rental equipment can be picked up as early as 2:00 P.M. the day before you are planning to ski or snowboard. 

When do I need to return my rental equipment?

All equipment needs to be returned by 6:30 P.M. after you are done skiing for the day or for $5.00 per person you may return before 10:00 A.M. the next morning. If you return after 10:00 A.M., we will charge you for another full day of rentals. 

If I rent gear and then am unable to use it, can I get a refund?

This is a hard question. We want to be fair and kind, while also making sure that we are not being taken advantage of. Our general rule is that if you were unable to use our gear for a reason that is outside of your control, we will offer a 50 percent refund at our discretion. We are not required to offer a refund but generally we will, if you are nice and honest about the situation. 

Should I make a reservation?

Making a reservation will help you out in two ways. First, it will save you time when you get to the shop. Instead of doing paper work when you arrive, you can start getting fitted as soon as a ski technician is available to help you. Each customer will still need to get fitted for boots, boards, helmets, and apparel upon arrival. Secondly, making a reservation will ensure that we will have equipment available for you. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to guarantee equipment is available. 

Can I change or cancel my reservation?

Yes, reservations can be changed or canceled at any time. 

What is your policy on lost, stolen, or damaged gear?

Lost and stolen gear is the renter's responsibility to replace although we will do everything that we can to find or recover your gear. Damaged gear is also the renter's responsibility unless the customer has paid for rental insurance. Rental insurance covers up to 80 dollars worth of repairable damage. 

What is your late return policy?

All equipment needs to be returned by 6:30 P.M. after you are done skiing for the day or for $5.00 per person you may return before 10:00 A.M. the next morning. If you return after 10:00 A.M., we will charge you for another full day of rentals. 

Does Cedar Sports sell lift tickets to Brian Head Ski Resort?

No, unfortunately, Brian Head Resort does not allow Cedar Sports or any of the other local ski shops to sell their lift tickets. 

How Do Our Daily Ski Rentals work?

Step 1: Make a reservation or drop by the shop.

We have two easy options available for you to get your gear here at Cedar Sports. The first option is to make a reservation using our easy online reservation system. Making a reservation will save you the hassle of filling out paperwork when you get to the shop and guarantees that we will have equipment available for you. The 2nd option is to simply drop by the shop during our regular business hours. Equipment can be picked up as early as 2:00 the day before you plan on skiing or snowboarding. Upon arrival, you will need to fill out some quick paperwork before getting fitted. If you have rented from us previously then you do not need to fill out paperwork again.

Step 2: Choose your package and get fitted.

We offer a variety of ski, snowboard, helmet, and goggle packages to meet your needs. Our goal is to get you into the equipment that is going to help you have the most enjoyable experience on the mountain. Plan on spending between 5 to 10 minutes per person getting fitted for the equipment that fits you best. 

Step 3: Ski, ride, have fun!

This is the fun part! We hope you have a great time using our gear and equipment. 

Step 4. Return your equipment.

This is the not-fun part. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end. All equipment needs to be returned by 6:30 P.M. after you are done skiing for the day or for $5.00 per person you may return before 10:00 A.M. the next morning. If you return after 10:00 A.M., we will charge you for another full day of rentals.
